Below are some cruise lines people have recommended:
--Royal Caribbean Cruise Line
--Norwegian Pearl Cruise Line
--Sapphire Princess Cruise Line
--Disney Wonder Cruise Line
Also, as for a cheaper deal on cruise, people recommend to check Costco first, then other agents, such as ParkCruise. Some people say Costco actually has the best deal.

Holland America Cruise Line or Celebrity Cruise Line are more suitable for older people and with family/kids. Celebrity Infinity is quite good and with very good food.
Norwegian is free style, with more younger people.
Princess is suitable for younger folks and a bit high-end compared to Norwegian.
Disney Cruise also not bad.
Price-wise, Celebrity is probably the best. Holland America and Disney Cruise are too expensive.

An old couple friend of mine went to Alaska cruise trip in the past summer. They only took the cruise to Alaska, but came back from Alaska via airplane. Since they mentioned not a lot of excitement to come back on the same cruise.
The cruise line they took was Princess Cruises, they mentioned it was 5-star standard. In total, the cruise has a capacity of around 5000 people, over 1000 people on the cruise are the on-board staff. So the services were very good and high quality.
