Comparison of Dodge Dealers In Bellevue and Kirkland

Dodge has couple of dealerships. The Bellevue Chrysler Jeep Dodge and the Kirkland Rairdon Dodge are the bigger dealers I've been to. Here are some comparisons between these two dealers that anyone who owns a Dodge vehicle might find useful.
Bellevue Chrysler Jeep Dodge
It used to be that you need to make an appointment for services like oil change. Nowadays, no need anymore. However, I don't know if it is a good thing or a bad thing, since with drive-through oil change, service quality couldn't be guaranteed anymore? (The dealership used to occupy a nice complex, but moved to the building nearby which seemed to me like a downgrade)
Bellevue Dodge did send out coupons for oil change from time to time, so that's a good thing.
Kirkland Rairdon Dodge
They prefer to have appointment for oil change. They also have frequent promotions going on for oil change. Last time I got $9 coupon! Also, at times with oil change, they'd do car wash for free for you.
For fixing issues with the car, they have some nice service technicians that would patiently explain the issues with you and recommend what to repair vs. what is not necessary. The level of customer service is better than Bellevue Dodge, at least in my case.
The only problem that bugged me was that Kirkland Dodge was quite a busy place, if you just wait there, for even a simple oil change, it could cost you couple hours.

Looks like Kirkland Dodge is more active in customer service. I recently got an email from them like this:
"According to the report from our Service Advisor, you had declined some recommended repairs for your vehicle. It may not have been convenient to have this work performed at that time. However, many of the recommendations are based on safety considerations.
Because of that, we are giving you an exclusive offer. If you come back to complete the services you declined in the next two weeks, you can redeem the attached coupon, 15% off our service recommendation"

My dodge caravan got issues with the electrical system. So I called up Kirkland Dodge. They told me I pretty much had to drop off the car so they could diagnose during the day. Then, I thought it would be better to ask Bellevue Dodge about it as they are close, so easier to drop off.
Boy, made no mistake, I called Bellevue Dodge service department and waited quite some time until someone picked up the phone. I just felt that they were not that responsive at all. It made me wonder if they were in good business condition?
So scratch that idea of picking a Dodge service provider closer to me then.
I called Kirkland Dodge again and made an appointment there to drop off and to just pick up a rental car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car service. Problem solved ;-) The rental cost was said to be $15-$20/day, but I heard some friends got rental car for free at their Toyota dealership. Hmm, maybe my next car should be a Toyota or Honda...

Chaplin VW & Subaru also has loaner cars for free, but usually need to wait in line for few days or weeks. I am surprised Dodge doesn't have it.

It seems that the better brand the car dealership represents, the better service they would provide.

Got a call from 1-888-508-4591. It turns out to be Dodge Bellevue's promotion call. They offered me $14.95 for oil change. The typical Dodge service deals is $29.95 for their express lane oil & filter change.

I got another call yesterday from Dodge Kirkland. As Thanksgiving customer appreciation, they are giving out Turkey free to customers. So I thought to pick it up today. But just called and they ran out already 10 minutes ago. Sigh.

Well I missed the free Turkey, but I didn't miss the Black Friday promo from Dodge Kirkland. I got a coupon for $9.95 oil change for my car and used it.
Also gladly surprised to find out that they've renovated their customer lounge area and is providing free coffee these days. Overall, I like them more than Dodge Bellevue for the better car service.
