This is kind of a frequently asked question for people who want to throw a birthday party for their kids. Below is a list of good places in Seattle eastside Bellevue/Redmond area for party ideas.

The Little Gym of Bellevue-Redmond
1800 130th Avenue NE, Bellevue, WA 98005, (425) 885-3866
Comment: named by the Parents magazine as the #1 place to host birthday parties for children a bit older because lot of activities are quite physical.

Gymboree Club
Gymboree Play & Music Parties
Comment: specialize in parties for kids age 1 ~ 5.

Pump It Up
11605 NE 116th Street, Kirkland, WA 98034, Phone: (425) 820-2297
Comment: gigantic inflatable-filled slides, bounce houses, obstacle courses and the slippery slope and lots of fun for kids.

Great Play
16510 Cleveland St, Suite N, Redmond, WA (Redmond Square by Redmond Town Center), 425-885-3800
Comment: based on your kid's age, they would provide three general themes:
-Field Day (ages 3-10)
-Fun and Games (ages 1-6)
-Multi-sport (ages 4-10)
Parties are 90 minutes long, it is probably a bit short for birthday events.

Techcity Bowl
13033 NE 70th Place, Kirkland, WA 98033, 425-827-0785
Comment: pizza and bowling birthday party, good for kids a bit older.

AMF Sun Villa Lanes
3080 148th S.E., Bellevue, WA 98007, 1-800-342-5263

Here is another good place to host birthday parties for kid.

Sky High Sports
1445 120th Ave, NE #101, Bellevue, 98005
Comment: exciting for birthday event for kids, the place is covered wall to wall with trampolines and I heard you could play dodge ball too. It should be fun.

I would also recommend Chuck E Cheese as well. Most boys like games, if you got couple of boys at home, Chuck n Cheese is definitely the place to go to have fun. I imagine that girls would enjoy that too!

Sun Villa at Bellevue is going to close at end of May. Here is the news: AMF Sun Villa Lanes To Close.

It is said that the nearest bowling lane is Lucky Strike Lanes in Downtown Bellevue. The facility is smaller and is part of Lincoln Square entertainment center. It doesn't get good reviews if you check it out on the web.

There are also bowling alleys in Kirkland and Tukwila, also a few in South Seattle.

For kids 5 years old around, the 3-2-1 Bounce is a fun place too to hold a birthday party. They got two addresses, one in Bellevue at 13434 NE 16th St Suite 110, Bellevue, WA. 98005, the other one in Everett at 1111 80th ST SW Suite 200, Everett, WA 98203.

For kids in the elementary school, i.e., 7-10 years old for example, the Stone Gardens is a good place for fun. It features an indoor climbing gym and bouldering walls. There are Seattle and Bellevue locations.
