生命在于运动的正确英文翻译是什么?

网上经常看到有人问，中文的生命在于运动用英文怎么说? 虽然国内有很多网站都有这方面的文章，但笔者觉得大部分都是比较误导的翻译。以下是一些常见的中英文对照.

Life is exercise , the first wealth is life
生命在于运动,健康是人生第一财富!

The life lies in sports , and reaps lies in cultivating
生命在于运动，收获在于耕耘。

It means always striving for more, learning and growing, doing nothing means death. So activity means life
它意味着总是努力追求更多的东西，一边学习一边成长。无所事事就意味着死亡。生命在于运动。

以上这些说法，笔者感觉是非常的中文化的英语。也就是ChinEnglish. 生命的英语说法是life, 这个固然是对的了，但运动，翻译成motion, 未免太机械了。而将运动翻译成sport, 也不合适。因为sport是体育运动，不是我们理解的日常经常性的活动身体，锻炼身体。身体锻炼，英文应该叫做exercise才对.

所以，笔者觉得生命在于运动的正确英文翻译应该是, life lies in healthy exercise.
