When I send out my resume by email, should I send the cover letter as a separate attachment to the email, or write the cover letter in the email body and attach my resume?
The best way to do it I think, is to make your cover letter and resume as ONE document. Then, send it as email attachment.
Your cover letter might get lost if you write it as the email body, because whoever receives your email might only print out a hard copy of your resume and give it to the actual hiring person.
So, the smart way to get your cover letter through is to write it inside your resume as the first page.
