Got the offer. Employer mentioned to give me $2000 relocation fee. But when I got the offer letter today, I found she did not put the relocation fee into the offer letter. Should I ask her to put it into the offer letter, or just confirm her with email?
Normally the offer letter should include the relocation benefit/assistance. Something like the following.
"The compensation for this position will be $xxx per year for a full time role with benefits. I am also pleased to offer you up to $2000 in relocation assistance. Your expenses will be reimbursed after you begin employment."
However, personally I think it is ok to just confirm with the new employer by email that she is going to pay you $2000 for relocation.
