Math Adventures at Somerset Elementary
Math Adventures are math-oriented puzzle events for 1st through 5th grade students. Small teams of students (3 students) and their coach (from a parent) must each solve a set of puzzles. There are two events, one in Spring and one towards Summer. Fee is $25.
Summer Math Camp
As fun as camping, canoeing and crafts combined, these camps keep math momentum rolling throughout the summer. A two-week, all inclusive 30-hour curriculum is designed to eliminate summer learning loss and increase math competency in fun and exciting ways. In particular, the

Math Is Cool Competition
"Math is Cool" competitions include both individual and team events. Individual events include completion of open-ended and multiple choice problem sets. Team events with 4 students in a team, include open-ended problem sets, relays, pressure rounds, mental math and college bowl rounds. $10 Per grade level (4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9-10, 11-12), $40 per team competing, $10 PO billing fee.
