喜欢喝咖啡的，可以看这篇 美国好用的咖啡机(coffee maker)推荐, 好的coffee machine 做出的 coffee 真的很香回味无穷。
喜欢更 Healthy 西式早餐的就用Juicer Extractor了，可以做新鲜的果汁喝. Juicer 的价位不等，有米的可以买200,300刀的 Omega J8006 Nutrition Center Juicer，转速高，噪音小，渣滓非常干，可以做饼，果汁不分层。 贫民版的可以考虑costco的，便宜，缺点是：噪音大，渣滓不干，果汁分层，清洗不方便。 中档一点的这个Breville BJE200XL Compact Juice Fountain 700-Watt Juice Extractor很不错的。

Nesco FD-75PR 700-Watt Food Dehydrator 这种是专门用来风干食物的，里面有各种常见食物风干的时间，就是没有红薯，不过夏天可以多买些水果风干各种果干，放cereal里很不错。
另外，我朋友家就是一个food processor 搞定一切，菜和肉都用一个打，不过我还是perfer肉类分开的，所以打肉馅可以用这个STX ELECTRIC MEAT GRINDER这个价位比较便宜是可以接受的。另外好像 LEM 牌子的绞肉机 更好，不过价位也不低了。 更详细的介绍可以看这篇 美国用什么绞肉机好?

另外还有一种手拿的小blender是我的最爱，用来打小量的东西时很好使。Cuisinart CSB-79 Smart Stick 2-Speed 200-watt Immersion Hand Blender with Attachments这个原价要110刀， 打折后50几刀搞定。

Cuisinart TOB-40 Custom Classic Toaster Oven Broiler 这个打折时也就70几刀，可以接受。 还有像Black & Decker的打折时到过29刀，不过因为用的勤，建议买个好的。

Zojirushi SN-XAE60XA Stainless Steel Thermal Vacuum Cooking Pot 象印的全不锈钢焖烧锅，内锅较大，内锅和外锅都是不锈钢的，保温很好。
Tiger NFH-G450 Thermal Magic Cooker, 4.5-Liter 这个是虎牌的不锈钢焖烧锅， 比象印的小， 价钱也要便宜一些。
上面这两个牌子的焖烧锅都是小贵的。 另外 home depot 和 Amazon 还有卖这种国产的焖烧锅了Thermal Cooker，也是不锈钢的内锅加外锅， 只要62刀 with free shipping。
如果要两屉的大蒸锅 Joyce Chen 3-Tier Steamer 不错。
或者你也可以在普通锅里用这种蒸屉， Sunsella Stainless Steel Vegetable Steamer， 这个蒸屉的好处是可以折叠， 所适合不同大小的锅。直径从 5.3 inches to 9.25 inches， 高度 (legs included) 2 inches to 3.35 inches.全不锈钢的，带提手，方便从锅里拿起。
万能的amazon 上真的是什么都有， Stainless Steel Steaming Steamer Rack 8.5 Inch Diameter 这个不锈钢的蒸锅屉， 我前些日子刚从国内带回来了一个， 非常的好使， 放在22cm 的高压锅或者蒸锅里刚刚好。
也有那种两个锅的，也很好。 两个锅，size都很小，特别适合不爱吃过夜东西的，一次煲的不会太多，还一次可以煲两种。当然也有三个锅的，但我觉得两个够了，一个煲粥，一个煲汤，早上一起床，满室飘香。

或者是用铸铁的炖锅，铸铁锅很沉，基本上不会坏，小火炖久一点不比砂锅差。还不用担心会烧裂。一般铸铁锅 Le Creuset Enameled Cast Iron 的最好，不过比较贵要100，200美元，有米的同学可以考虑，
贫民的用 Dutch oven 也很不错。 Lodge Color Dutch Oven 打折时40多买的，足够用了。
